Current Notes: Having been originally designed in 1981 this software was subject to the much publicized Y2K issues. At that point in time the program was modified to process data correctly thru or up to 2007. That time is arriving quickly.
Comments received from the field:
1) A company using fiscal year reporting from June 1 thru May 31 just attempted to set up the next reporting periods in the GL as ending with June 2007 with the next period in 2008 and the system failed.
2) A payroll company in Colorado Springs still using Real World payroll, reported after extensive in house testing, that they highly recommend NOT attempting to use it for the pay year 2007 and are evaluating alternatives. (No detail provided).
3) It has also been reported that Accounts Receivable aging is not accurate after 31 Dec 2006.
